ABOUT
La Mae Jewellery all began with a big dream and little/almost no budget hahaha. Born from a passion for creating unusual jewellery pieces for every special occasion. I simply wanted to create jewels for individuals such as yourself, that are unique and bring happiness and joy along with sentimental attachment. So, in 2016 whilst working full time, I embarked on my little side hustle with the determination to eventually build it into a beautiful business. I started out creating unusual silver jewellery and was told by many in the industry that profitability wise it just wasn't a feasible plan. My passion to create however could not be supressed and so I pushed on and boy am I grateful I did! I have been so lucky to have met incredible clients along the way and thus my dream has blossomed into a little business where I get to do what I love for awesome individuals and bring a smile whilst doing it.
MY MISSION:
There are two aspects to La Mae Jewellery I am equally enthralled with and passionate about.
The first being the realization of a dream to design and manufacture unique jewellery pieces with love and precision, something a little different that can be given as gifts or worn and loved on the daily. It has been the most incredible experience building this dream and slowly seeing it come to life! I aim to create jewels that are not only unusual but finished off to the highest quality, which won't break the bank.
The second aspect to La Mae Jewellery is the rewarding journey I take with you when designing something personal. Specializing in engagement and wedding rings as well as gifts. I love designing bespoke pieces which can be passed down for generations to come. The sky is truly the limit when it comes to design and I aim to infuse your style and a little bit of you into the piece since it will be worn for a lifetime. Re-designing sentimental jewellery is another passion of mine. There is something so beautiful and everlasting about creating something new from a beloved piece of jewellery.
MY PASSION:
Since I have been designing jewellery for over 15 years now, creating jewels has truly become a labour of love for me. I infuse love, precision and passion into each piece that leaves the studio. To me, each item I make is a tiny work of art with its own personality and individuality much like people. I consider it a privilege to create these tiny artworks that are everlasting and to play a small part in my clients' journey.
